jamie & annie's wedding + tyler as "mr. preacher"

One of the highlights of my summer was witnessing the wedding of two of mine and Tyler's dear friends: Jaime + Annie. Sometimes I forget that I haven't known these two ladies for years, when in fact it's only been one year!

I thought the best part of the wedding day was their ceremony. Not only was their love deeply apparent as they shared their vows, but what made it extra special was that Tyler performed the ceremony! After one of those snazzy online minister courses, Tyler was certified to officiate their marriage (so if you're in need of a wedding officiant, I know I guy ;)

I loved watching Ty draft, rewrite, adapt and edit tirelessly for a few weeks (mostly while we were traveling on trains/planes in Japan). He poured a lot of love into that ceremony.

He found OUR ceremony script and went through with me to get inspiration. I loved reading through our ceremony words (which we were heavily involved in writing and editing) and remembering the fervent feelings of our ceremony. Especially as I watched Annie and Jaime bind their marriage in a grove of aspen trees in the Park City mountains... it felt so familiar!

These two put together an incredible wedding day and I know all their guests felt their authenticity every step along the way. Tyler and I not only love Jaime and Annie as friends, but we respect them as heroines. They are each hard working women who fiercely follow their hearts. We've walked parallel to each other on some hard journeys life brings.

Jaime & Annie, I'm grateful to know you both!

Many thanks to their photographer (and my friend :) Chelsie Starley for sending me some of her beautiful photos she took this day! You captured everything so perfectly.

I wanted to share some fun motorcycle shots from the drive up the mountain to the wedding! It's a pretty fun gig to sit on the back and enjoy the views. I'm awkwardly putting them at the end of this piece, hoping it's not distracting!
